Navy Traffic Handle for Strong Dog Management
The Navy Waterproof Biothane Traffic Handle brings professional-grade control to everyday situations. Whether you're training a strong dog or simply need reliable close-quarters handling, this compact lead delivers confidence in your grip. We handmake each traffic handle in Yorkshire using premium PVC/TPU-coated Biothane that stays comfortable session after session.
Weather-Related Lead Problems
Tired of leads that become stiff, smelly, or unusable in bad weather? Traditional materials absorb moisture, develop odours, and lose flexibility in cold conditions. This Biothane traffic handle stays supple in frost, flexible in heat, and never retains smells or moisture. Simply wipe clean and continue your walk.
Why Choose This Traffic Handle
- Crowd navigation solution - Prevents lead tangling around pedestrians, bikes, or street furniture in busy areas
- Consistent communication - Non-stretch material ensures your guidance reaches your dog without delay or confusion
- Strong dog tested durability - Handles powerful breeds and sudden pulling without stretching, snapping, or wearing thin
- Weather-resistant Biothane - Stays flexible in cold, firm in heat, never stiffens or becomes brittle like leather alternatives
- Ergonomic grip design - Comfortable hold that prevents hand fatigue during extended use or training sessions
- Zero-maintenance cleaning - Quick wipe or rinse removes mud, water, and odours without special treatments or conditioning
- Multiple width options - 20mm for lighter dogs, 25mm for larger breeds - choose the perfect size for your dog's strength

Size guide
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they lie stretched out, then add about 10-20cm. That is the length the bed needs to be.
If your dog likes to curl up, you can usually go one size down.
Rough guide by breed (dogs vary, so measure your own if you can):
- Small dogs (Dachshund, Jack Russell, Cavapoo): beds around 60-75cm
- Medium dogs (Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Border Collie): beds around 75-95cm
- Large dogs (Labrador, Golden Retriever, Vizsla): beds around 95-115cm
- Extra large dogs (German Shepherd, Doberman, Great Dane): beds of 115cm and over
Not sure? Message us with your dog's breed and measurements and we'll help you choose.
