Guacamole Green Traffic Handle for Busy Environment Safety
Transform chaotic moments into controlled walks with the Guacamole Green Waterproof Biothane Traffic Handle. This 35cm lead bridges the gap between safety and practicality, giving you instant control without the bulk of longer leads. We craft each traffic handle in Yorkshire using weather-resistant PVC/TPU-coated Biothane that performs in all conditions.
Strong Dog Control Issues
Finding it hard to manage a powerful dog in tight spaces? Traditional leads can slip through hands or cause strain when strong dogs pull unexpectedly. This traffic handle's comfortable grip and non-stretch Biothane construction give you confident control even with the strongest breeds. The ergonomic design prevents hand fatigue during extended use.
Traffic Handle Advantages
- Safe street crossing design - Keeps your dog positioned safely at heel during road crossings and traffic encounters
- Training-grade construction - Built to professional standards used by dog trainers and behaviorists for precision work
- Weather-resistant Biothane - Stays flexible in cold, firm in heat, never stiffens or becomes brittle like leather alternatives
- Ergonomic grip design - Comfortable hold that prevents hand fatigue during extended use or training sessions
- Zero-maintenance cleaning - Quick wipe or rinse removes mud, water, and odours without special treatments or conditioning
- Strong dog tested durability - Handles powerful breeds and sudden pulling without stretching, snapping, or wearing thin
- Multiple width options - 20mm for lighter dogs, 25mm for larger breeds - choose the perfect size for your dog's strength

Size guide
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they lie stretched out, then add about 10-20cm. That is the length the bed needs to be.
If your dog likes to curl up, you can usually go one size down.
Rough guide by breed (dogs vary, so measure your own if you can):
- Small dogs (Dachshund, Jack Russell, Cavapoo): beds around 60-75cm
- Medium dogs (Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Border Collie): beds around 75-95cm
- Large dogs (Labrador, Golden Retriever, Vizsla): beds around 95-115cm
- Extra large dogs (German Shepherd, Doberman, Great Dane): beds of 115cm and over
Not sure? Message us with your dog's breed and measurements and we'll help you choose.
