Heartfelt Gratitude: Rescue dogs often come from challenging backgrounds, making them incredibly appreciative of the love and care they receive in their new homes. Their gratitude is evident in the unconditional love and loyalty they show, creating a bond that goes beyond words.
Saving a Life: Adopting a rescue dog means saving a life. Many shelters struggle with overcrowding, and by choosing adoption, you directly contribute to alleviating this issue. You become a hero in your new furry friend's eyes and make a positive impact on the broader issue of pet homelessness.
Varied Personalities and Breeds: Rescue dogs come in all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Whether you're looking for an energetic companion for outdoor activities or a laid-back cuddle buddy, shelters offer a diverse selection of dogs with unique personalities, ensuring you find the perfect match for your lifestyle.
Ageless Beauty: From playful puppies to wise seniors, rescue dogs come in all age ranges. Each age group brings its own set of charms and challenges, allowing you to choose a companion that fits seamlessly into your life, regardless of your preferences.
Instant Companionship: Unlike raising a puppy, adopting a rescue dog often means instant companionship. Many rescue dogs have already learned basic commands and adapted to living in a home, making the transition smoother for both the dog and the new owner.
Built-In Training: Contrary to common misconceptions, rescue dogs can be easily trained. Many have already been exposed to basic training in shelters, and their intelligence and eagerness to please make them quick learners. The satisfaction of witnessing your rescue dog's progress is immensely rewarding.
Health Benefits: Numerous studies have shown that having a dog as a companion can contribute to improved mental and physical health. The joy and companionship provided by rescue dogs can help reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness, enhancing your overall well-being.
Budget-Friendly: Adopting a rescue dog is often more budget-friendly than purchasing a dog from a breeder. Shelters typically cover initial veterinary costs, including vaccinations and spaying/neutering, making adoption a cost-effective option for those looking to bring a furry friend into their homes.
Supportive Communities: Adopting a rescue dog opens the door to a supportive community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for animal welfare. Local shelters and rescue organizations often host events, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow pet lovers.
Unconditional Love: Perhaps the most significant reason why rescue dogs are the best companions is the unconditional love they offer. Regardless of their past experiences, rescue dogs have an incredible capacity for forgiveness and acceptance, teaching us valuable lessons about compassion and resilience.
Conclusion:
In choosing to adopt a rescue dog, you're not only gaining a loyal companion but also contributing to the greater good of animal welfare. The love, joy, and unique qualities that rescue dogs bring into our lives make them truly exceptional companions. If you're considering adding a furry friend to your family, take a trip to your local shelter—you may just find your perfect match waiting for you.
]]>They say a dog is a human's best friend, but did you know they're also capable of showing genuine love and affection? Our four-legged companions have an incredible way of communicating their emotions, and if you've ever wondered whether your furry friend truly loves you, this blog is here to unravel the adorable signs that speak volumes. From tail wags to cuddle sessions, let's dive into the charming world of canine affection.
One of the most iconic signs of doggy devotion is the tail wag. If your dog's tail wags like a helicopter when they see you, congratulations — you've got a fan! The speed and enthusiasm of their wag reveal their excitement, joy, and love for your company.
Have you ever caught your dog gazing into your eyes with a look that seems to pierce your soul? That's not just your imagination. Research shows that gazing into your eyes increases the levels of oxytocin — the "love hormone" — in both you and your dog. So, the next time your pup locks eyes with you, know that it's more than just a casual glance.
Nothing says "I love you" quite like a dog that's always up for playtime. When your pup eagerly brings you their favourite toy or playfully nudges you for attention, they're not just seeking entertainment; they're inviting you into their world of joy and bonding.
Picture this: you're relaxing on the couch, and suddenly, your dog plops down beside you, nuzzling and snuggling. That's their way of showing affection and seeking comfort in your presence. Dogs are pack animals, and seeking close physical contact is their way of saying, "You're part of my pack, and I love being close to you."
Ever noticed that your dog follows you around like a loyal shadow? It's not just curiosity; it's a sign of love and attachment. Dogs are social creatures that feel most secure when they're around their favourite humans. So, if you find a furry companion tailing your every move, take it as a heartwarming compliment.
A dog exposing their belly is a display of utmost vulnerability and trust. When your pup flips over for a belly rub, they're letting you know that they feel safe and secure around you. It's a tangible sign of their affection and faith in your bond.
Coming home to an exuberant dog who jumps, spins, and wags their tail uncontrollably is like receiving a love explosion. Your return is the highlight of their day, and their enthusiastic greeting is a genuine outpouring of their love and happiness.
Conclusion: Dogs have a remarkable ability to convey their emotions without saying a word. From wagging tails to soulful stares, playful antics to cuddle sessions, they shower us with signs of love that are both heartwarming and undeniable. So, the next time your furry friend exhibits these affectionate behaviours, remember that their love is as genuine as their wagging tail and as deep as their soulful eyes. Embrace their love and cherish the unique bond you share with your furry companion.
]]>Before the introduction, make sure the environment is safe and comfortable for both the puppy and the children. Remove any potential hazards or fragile items that could be accidentally knocked over. Create a designated space for the puppy with toys, water, and a cozy bed.
It's crucial to educate children about how to interact with a puppy. Teach them to be gentle, calm, and respectful towards the puppy. Explain that pulling the puppy's tail or ears can hurt them, and that they should never disturb the puppy while it's eating or sleeping.
Start with short and supervised interactions between the puppy and the children. Allow them to get to know each other gradually. Encourage the children to sit quietly and let the puppy approach them at its own pace. This helps build trust and confidence between them.
When the puppy and children interact positively, reward them with praise and treats. This reinforces good behaviuor and creates a positive association between the puppy and the children. Encourage the children to play gently with the puppy using appropriate toys.
Always supervise interactions between the puppy and children, especially in the beginning. Watch for any signs of discomfort or fear from either the puppy or the children. If necessary, separate them and try again later. Safety should always be the top priority.
Teach the children to respect the puppy's boundaries. If the puppy shows signs of wanting space, such as moving away or growling, explain to the children that it's important to give the puppy some alone time. This helps prevent any potential conflicts or accidents.
Introducing a puppy to children takes time and patience. Be consistent with the rules and boundaries you set for both the puppy and the children. With time, they will develop a strong bond and learn to interact in a positive and respectful manner.
Remember, the key to a successful introduction between your puppy and children is to create a safe and positive environment, educate the children about proper behavior, and supervise their interactions. By following these tips, you can ensure a harmonious and loving relationship between your puppy and the children.

The top 10 UK dog breeds, according to the Kennel Club's registration statistics for 2021, are:
It's worth noting that popularity can vary from year to year, and these statistics only represent the dogs that are registered with the Kennel Club. There are many other wonderful dog breeds in the UK that are not included in this list.
It's important to research the breed of dog you are considering before making a decision to bring them into your home. Different breeds have different needs in terms of exercise, grooming, training, and socialization. Some breeds may be better suited to certain living situations, such as apartments or houses with yards.
By doing your research, you can better understand the breed's temperament, potential health issues, and any other specific needs they may have. This can help you determine if the breed is a good match for your lifestyle and living situation, and can also help you prepare to provide the best care for your new furry friend.
Additionally, it's important to consider adopting from a shelter or rescue organisation rather than buying from a breeder. Adopting a dog in need can be a rewarding experience, and many shelters can provide information on a dog's personality and behaviour to help you find the right match for your family.

However training them to be well-behaved companions can be an immensely rewarding experience. For starters Dogs thrive on routine, consistency and positive reinforcement. But where do you begin?
]]>However training them to be well-behaved companions can be an immensely rewarding experience. For starters Dogs thrive on routine, consistency and positive reinforcement. But where do you begin?
If you're a first-time dog owner, or you're struggling with your dog's training, here are a few tips and tricks that can help make the process a lot smoother.
1. Consistency is key
One of the most important things to keep in mind when training your dog is consistency. Dogs thrive on routine, so it's essential to establish clear rules and boundaries and stick to them. This means using the same commands and signals every time you train your dog, and rewarding good behaviour consistently.
2. Use positive reinforcement
Positive reinforcement is a powerful tool in dog training. Rather than punishing your dog for bad behaviour, focus on rewarding good behaviour with treats, praise, and affection. This will help your dog associate good behaviour with positive outcomes, making it more likely to repeat that behaviour in the future.
3. Start with basic commands
When training your dog, it's essential to start with basic commands such as sit, stay, and come. These commands form the foundation of more advanced training, and they are easy to teach with patience and consistency. Use treats and praise to reward your dog for following your commands.
4. Be patient
Training your dog requires patience and persistence. Don't expect your dog to learn everything overnight; be prepared to work with your furry friend over time to achieve the desired results. Remember, it's not a race since every dog learns at their own pace.
5. Use a high-quality dog bed
The right dog bed can play a significant role in your dog's overall well-being and comfort. Despite its commonality, a comfortable bed can help reduce your dog's stress and anxiety, making it easier for them to focus and learn during training. Our luxury Hadleigh Donut Bed is the perfect choice for dogs who love to snuggle up and feel secure. It's made with high-quality materials and features a plush, soft centre that provides the perfect spot for your furry friend to relax and unwind after a long day of training.
6. Take breaks
Just like people, dogs can get tired and overwhelmed by too much training. Be sure to take regular breaks and give your furry friend plenty of time to rest and recharge. This will help them stay focused and engaged during training sessions, making it more enjoyable and effective for both of you.
7. Exercise and Play with Your Dog
Exercise and play are important for your dog's physical and mental well-being. Regular exercise can help reduce your dog's stress and anxiety, making it easier for them to focus and learn. Playtime is also a great opportunity to bond with your furry friend and reinforce good behaviour.
8. Socialisation
Another key aspect of training your dog is socialisation. Introducing your dog to new people, places, and other animals as early as possible, can help them learn to be comfortable and confident in different situations. While this may sound counterintuitive, it will also help prevent future aggressive or fearful behaviour.
Training your dog takes time, patience, and effort, but it's worth it. By starting early, using positive reinforcement, being consistent, starting with basic commands, exercising and playing with your dog, and using a comfortable bed like the Pet Prestige Luxury Porto Donut Bed, you can create a strong bond with your furry friend and ensure their safety and happiness.
]]>Bringing a new dog into your home and family is a big deal. It’s exciting, fun and is the start of a relationship that will hopefully last for years and years – whether it’s a fresh-faced new puppy or a senior pooch.
But there’s also an awful lot to think about before you find the dog of your dreams – to help you out, we’ve come up with this quick guide to what you should know before you take the plunge:
Choose the right breed for you and your home
Some dogs are loud. Some are laid back introverts. Others need constant mental stimulation. Others yet are balls of energy.
It’s essential you find the right breed for you – something that matches your personality, how much time you have to give attention and how big your home is. Put some research online – here’s an excellent guide from the Kennel Club to help you out.
Choose whether to buy or go for a rescue
The great ‘buy or adopt’ debate has raged for years and it’s a tough one. On the one hand, there are tens of thousands of abandoned dogs that desperately need a loving home, but on the other, buying a dog is often a smoother option, especially for those who have less experience with owning a pooch.
As with choosing the right breed, this is all about doing you research to see which is right for you. Here’s another handy resource for you to make your decision.
Get your home prepped
New dogs, new you. It’s a vital step to look at your home and get it ready and set for your new furry friend. You’ll need to stock up on things that’ll make the new pup feel right at home straightaway.
First thing’s first, get a bed. Could be a luxury dog bed, a cave dog bed, a donut dog bed or a hideaway dog bed – whatever floats your and your new dog’s respective boats. Then grab yourself a set of dog bowls, a leash, and of course, a whole box of toys and treats.
Talk to your kids
If you have children, your new dog is going to be very popular. Most dogs are great with kids, but there are definitely some ground rules you’ll need to set ahead of time.
Sit down with your children and make sure they understand the responsibilities of dog ownership. Better yet, have them do some research online themselves to get up-to-date with how they should treat the new addition.
Consider lining up a dog trainer
If you’re getting a puppy or a young dog, they will almost certainly need a bit of training to get them behaving well. This is where you need to decide whether you’ll do the training yourself, or whether you’ll bring in the professional.
Naturally having a dog trainer is an expense, but it can set your dog up for life with the right training that will make owning and living with them a breeze. The Dogs Trust is an especially good place, with a 4-week course that can be a big help – find more information here.
There’s a lot to look forward to with owning a new dog. If you’ve got all of the above covered, you’ll be just about set!
We’re here to help the settling in process with our range of dog beds to match every breed! Get yours today from our website.

Dogs of all ages can experience heightened anxiety at nighttime when the lights go out and you disappear under the covers. We have several deluxe options at Pet Prestige UK to make them comfortable and doze right off with you, but two types of them deserve special attention: the cave dog bed and memory foam dog bed. Find out why these are so popular with our furry friends below.
Much like you would imagine, a cave dog bed is those with some form of an extra layer of material spreading over the top. A cave dog bed can give your pooch added comfort and coziness by blocking stray light from entering and keeping heat from escaping. If your canine gets anxious from loud noises and thunderstorms, a cave dog bed will also provide them a place to escape where they feel safer.
You’ll find all of our beds matching that description on our Luxury Cave, Cocoon, Hooded Dog Beds page. We have sheltered dog beds made from some of the most respected brands, as well as our very own Pet Prestige Hideaway Dog Bed. The hood is removable on the Hideaway, and the bed itself is dual-sided making it two beds in one! Spray cotton pads under the soft velvet fabric of this calming dog bed provide extra comfort that soothes and regulates your dog’s temperature. The Hideaway is sure to make them doze off quickly.
Another option we have at Pet Prestige UK that dogs just can’t resist falling asleep on is a memory foam dog bed. We have a large selection of these to choose from on our Memory Foam Dog Beds page.
It’s hard to choose one memory foam dog bed out of such a great variety, but an exceedingly popular choice is the Ultima Luxury Memory Foam Sleeper Pet Bed. You can get one in either a medium or large size, as well as two colour options: grey or beige/brown. This memory foam dog bed has a plush 10cm of memory foam padding, as well as a removable cover for easy care.
And if you have an older dog that is having difficulty dozing off because of joint and muscle pain, consider the Scruffs® Chateau Memory Foam Orthopaedic Box Dog Bed. This is a calming dog bed suited for most breeds of dogs of advanced age, with plenty of memory foam padding underneath and on the sides to give them the comfort and support they need.
A cave dog bed offers the comfort of an overhead shelter to keep warmth in and perceived threats out. A memory foam dog bed has superior cushioning that lulls even the most energetic or aching dogs to sleep. You’re sure to find the perfect calming dog bed when searching in these two categories specifically, or you can find many other types at the Pet Prestige UK Online Store.
]]>In 2019, the RSPCA took in over 10,500 dogs and 29,432 cats – many of which thought to be abandoned by pet owners who couldn’t, or simply didn’t want to, look after them. Many of these animals will have been bought for children and family members across the festive season, families that will have been unprepared for the commitment it takes to look after a living creature.
Whether it’s for financial reasons, domestic reasons or because the animal became too much work, pet abandonment is a serious problem across the UK. You can play your part by ensuring you carefully research the breed of dog or cat you’re taking in, and understanding the time and financial cost that adopting is actually made up of.
Cats, dogs and other pets all deserve respect and care from their owners – and a commitment that lasts well beyond Christmas and onto the rest of their lives.
Having said that, there’s nothing wrong with getting a puppy, kitten, dog, cat or senior pet for Christmas as long as everyone involved is aware of the responsibility they’re taking on.
So if you are planning on gifting someone a pet this Christmas, here are four ways you can ensure they get the best welcome possible:
Never, ever surprise someone with a pet at Christmas time. If someone who doesn’t want a pet or is even just slightly unsure, gifting them an animal will just end up with the animal going back to the shelter. Always be clear – it may be less fun, but it is always the sensible choice.
Before you gift a pet, always make sure you take them to the vets for a full check up and a vaccination. Gifting a sick animal is a bad idea and can cause a lot more trouble if the recipient is unaware. Also ensure cats or dogs are spayed and neutered.
When the time comes on the big day to gift the cat or puppy, there are several things you need to take into consideration. If placing the pet in a box, always remember airholes and never wrap the animal in wrapping paper. When the ‘unwrapping’ is underway, be sure to have readily available exits – the noise and excitement can be distressing for animals, especially younger ones.
The recipient’s new furry friend will need a lot of other bits and bobs when you gift them to someone. Be sure to buy food, leashes, collars, carriers, bowls and toys so that the pet can easily settle into their new life. Don’t forget a bed too so that they can carve out their own special corner of the room for themselves.
If you’re looking for a brand new dog or cat bed for your Christmas pet, here at Pet Prestige, we’ve got a wide range of luxury dog beds and cat beds to fit the needs of most breeds. From hooded dog beds to igloo cat beds, we can help your festive pet settle in right from day one.

]]>7 things to consider when buying a new Puppy
So, you’re thinking of buying a puppy! Congratulations!
Welcoming a puppy into your home is one of the most exciting and fun additions you can make to your family, so there’s a lot to look forward to!
At the same time though, you’ll need to think carefully about your puppy’s needs and health. Giving your new furry friend everything he or she needs to thrive is crucial for his or her well-being.
In this blog, we’re going to run through some of the things you’ll need to keep in mind for when you buy your new puppy.
Make sure you’re getting the right puppy for you
When you buy a new puppy, you’ll want to be absolutely sure that they are the right fit for you and your home. You’ll need to think about things like breeds, age, rescue status and size to ensure you can keep them under control and enjoy their company – in other words, do some research before you buy to make sure you’re getting the right dog for you
Check the breeder and their background
Most breeders are trustworthy people who want the best for the puppies and the owners – however, there are some unscrupulous breeders out there who smuggle dogs into the country illegal, or run cruel puppy farms. These breeders often treat the puppies incredibly poorly, and this can often result in health and behavioural issues for the little guys.
Visit the puppy before you buy
The best way to ensure a puppy isn’t smuggled, farmed or treated inhumanely is to visit the pup with its mum. You’ll get a chance to ask the breeder important questions about the litter and you’ll get to see the puppy interact with its parents and siblings. If anything feels off about the experience you have, you can raise your concerns with animal welfare charities like the RSPCA.
Head to the vets
Once you’ve found and bought the puppy you like, a visit to the vets is in order for an initial checkup and the essential vaccinations. It’s also smart to take this opportunity to get the puppy chipped – that way, if the puppy is lost or stolen, it can be easily returned. You can also consult the vet on any advice or concerns you have about raising the puppy too.
Get your home puppy-ready
Often, puppies are like a whirlwind in your home, zooming around, picking up the smells and sights as they go – that’s why It’s important to get your home ready for the new arrival. Food and water bowls are the obvious addition, as is a collar, lead and tag, poo bags and dog toys. You can also grab some puppy pads for that all-important toilet training and of course, some puppy-appropriate dog food.
Choosing a dog bed and blankets
Your new pooch will be a bundle of activity and energy when they first get home, but once that’s all worn off, they’ll need somewhere quiet and private to retreat to to catch their breath and conk out for a snooze. A dog bed with blankets is the perfect inclusion to offer all of that and more, giving a tranquil oasis for your puppy to retreat to for that vital forty winks. Try to pick a dog bed that is comfortable, but also provides privacy with a hood to bring down for the more nervous puppies out there.
If you’re buying a puppy and you’re looking for the perfect luxury dog bed to give them the pampered treatment they deserve, we can help!

]]>When they aren’t bouncing off the walls or smothering you with affection, your dog will spend a lot of their life snoozing, napping, relaxing and catching forty winks here, there and everywhere.
Because of this, it’s very important that you give your pooch its very own bed where it can retreat to and dream the night (or day) away.
But it’s just as important to make sure that that dog bed is the right shape and size for your best furry friend. In this Paw blog, we’re going to talk about how to choose the right shaped luxury dog bed for your dog, and how different options can suit different kinds of pups.
Choosing the right shape
Like dogs, dog beds come in a number of different shapes. Choosing one is all about finding the bed that suits your dog’s shape the best. Here are some common types of dog bed that you might want to consider:
Round dog bed – Shaped like a circle, round dog beds are a must for smaller dogs that like to circle around their bed before curling up in a ball to sleep. They’re cosy and comfy, though they might not suit larger breeds of dogs who need the extra room for their limbs.
Rectangular dog bed – Longer and with a bit more space to stretch, rectangular dog beds are great for longer-limbed pooches who want to lounge and lollop. These are also great for older dogs whose legs can no longer curl like they used to.
Square dog bed – These square dog divans are similar to their longer rectangular counterparts, but they’re more of a small dog bed option, designed for smaller pups. They’ll also take up a little less room than rectangular beds – always a plus.
Cave dog bed – With a roof over their head, these hooded dog bed options are great for nervous dogs that like to burrow away from the outside world, giving them a little hideaway to get the maximum peace and quiet for some much-deserved shut-eye
Before you make your choice, always be sure to carefully research your options, so that you can be sure that the bed you get is the right one for your dog.

As summer draws in and the lockdown restrictions start to lift, almost all of us - pets and people alike - are looking forward to slowly getting back to normal.
There’s a lot to be excited about, but it’s worth sparing a moment to think about how the easing of lockdown might affect your furry best friend. From homeworking changes to social distancing in the park, these changes might unsettle your pet - so here at Pet Prestige, we’ve created some helpful tips for helping your dog or cat adjust to their new freedom:
Start lockdown easing for your pet slowly
If you’ve been working from home through the lockdown, disappearing back to the office all of a sudden can cause anxiety for dogs, and sometimes cats too. If you have a ‘back to work’ date set in stone, consider prepping your pet for the big day by closing the door between you and your dog or cat a few hours at a time, increasing the time gradually to get them used to the separation.
Reintegrate them with other people
Throughout lockdown, we’ve been unable to meet with other people in our own homes so when someone does come and visit, this could cause some uncertainty for your animals. As with the above tip, start off slow. Invite just one person who is comfortable around dogs and cats and get your pet used to socialising with them again before bringing more people around.
Leave the home for a few hours
When you start leaving for work again, your dog or cat will have no idea if you’ll be coming back at all. The working day is even longer for pets, so get them used to you being gone for long periods by making a show of picking up the keys and leaving for a few hours. Leave their cat or dog bed by the door so they can monitor things, and try not to make a fuss of them when you come back home.
Treat them with a gift
After the year we’ve all had, we all deserve a bit of pampering! Consider getting your pet a new gift to help distract them from the upheaval of lockdown easing. A luxury dog bed or cat bed can provide a nice and comfortable spot for your pet to retreat to when things get a bit too much, or some cat nip or a fresh new squeaky toy can reward good reintegration behaviour.
Those are the Pet Prestige (UK) tips for helping your pet readjust to a life after lockdown! As the country’s leading luxury pet bed provider, we can’t wait to see you and your pets back out and about – for more tips on pet care and wellbeing, keep an eye on the Paw Club blog here.

A good dog bed can also boost your pup’s health and help with all kinds of behavioural issues.
So far, so good, but there are a fair few dog beds out there and you’ll want to make sure you’re getting the right one for your pooch – one that suits its size, its breed and it's temperament. In this blog, we’re going to take a look at what dog bed is the best choice for your dog, exploring what to look out for when making your decision about which bed to go for.
Choose the right size
Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, and as such, your first consideration when looking for a dog bed should be to find the right size bed for your pet. Size is a big deal because small dog beds that are too short will be too uncomfortable for your dog, while large dog beds that are oversized can take up some serious room in your home.
Bigger is always better, so try to buy a bed that is a little larger than the room your pup will take up – everyone needs to stretch their legs now and then!
Consider the design
Just like us humans, every dog has its own personality, made up of different behaviours and reactions to day-to-day life. Because of this, some anxious or excitable dogs can need specially-designed exclusive dog beds that cater to their specific needs.
Hooded designs can often come in handy, giving sensitive pooches a barrier between themselves and the outside world for when it all gets a bit too much. Likewise, older dogs can need that little bit of extra padding to soothe aching bones and muscles after a long day out and about.
Go for the best materials
The best top quality pet beds out there are designed using only the best materials available to make sure your pets are given the real luxury treatment every time they hit the hay. Padding is essential for comfort, memory foam even better, and ideally, you should go for pet beds that have durable upholstery that’s easily washable.
Dogs really are great to have around but after a day of walks and general dog activity, they can leave their mark on their bed, so it’s best to have the right material for the job.
Set out a spot in your home for the bed
Before you buy your dog a new bed, it’s a smart move to set out some space in your home for where you’d like the bed to go. A nice cosy spot is always good, so try to pick out somewhere that’s within fair distance from a heat source but far enough away from any draughts that could cause some late-night chills.
You should also consider the social aspect – some dogs like to relax on their own in a quiet space to themselves, others prefer to be around the family so they can enjoy your company while they doze off. Give it some thought, section off a space, and buy the right sized bed for the job.
Get the right dog bed for your interior design
Okay, this one’s more for you than your dog, but it’s always worth considering how your dog bed will fit in with the decorations in your home. Ideally, you’ll want a bed that’s smart but not too garish, seamlessly fitting in with all the rest of the furniture in the room.
The easiest way to do this is to go for a bed in a neutral colour like black or grey – the added benefit of these colours is that any mud or muck that gets trawled in after extensive walkies won’t stand out quite as much – a win-win solution.
Those are just some of our tips for picking out the right dog bed for you and your best furry friend. Buying the best bed for your dog now will keep you both tucked up and dreaming away every night for years to come!
